History of the Federation
of Mongolian Horse Racing Sport and Trainers

The Federation of Mongolian Horse Racing Sport and Trainers is non-governmental organization that has objective of protecting the rights of trainers and jockeys and task to present and accomplish the idea of development of Mongolian national tradition of horse racing.
The Federation of Mongolian Horse Racing Sport and Trainers is sports organization that hosts and organizes all the horse racing that takes place on Mongolian land.

Formed by the Conference of the Mongolian Horse Racing Trainers Committee in May 25,1995.
221 commissioners from 19 aimaks has participated in this Conference. 
In 1996 June Registered in Ministry of Justice.
In 1995 July became a member of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee. This allowed the Federation to become official sports committee to host and organize horse racing in Mongolia by the Olympic Charter.

Battumur Gal the creator of the Federation of Mongolian Horse Racing Sport and Trainers.

Born in Bayanjargalan soum of TuwAimak, 1942. Descendant of many trainers from 19th Century to 20th Century, son of the great horse trainer Gal Donoidoo of Khalkh.
Educated in National University of Mongolia as Electronics Engineer. Since 1995 elected and worked as the Vice -Chailrman of the Federation. In 2004 received Distinguished Trainer Of Mongolia Award.
In 2008 Mr.M.Enkhbold, the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia was elected FMHRST President, with Mr.P.Sergelen serving as Secretary General.
